Joe Judge is well-known for his unique training methods and colorful language. At Giants camp today, we saw that his assistant coaches are held to the same standards as the players.

Judge got off to a less-than-ideal start with the Giants, finishing 2nd in the notoriously weak NFC East, with a 6-10 record. However, that hasn’t deterred most fans from maintaining their belief in his project.
While it may not have shown on the field quite yet, his innovative approaches can certainly be applauded. For example last year, he taped tennis balls to his players’ hands to stop them from holding. What’s not to love about that?
That being said, he has his fair share of critics. Just last week, Kelvin Benjamin ripped into him after he was cut on the first day of training camp, predicting that Judge will never win a Super Bowl because of his attitude.
He was also heavily criticized after firing his O-Line coach last year in week 10, and many fans accuse him of unsuccessfully copying Bill Belichick’s style.
Today, during training camp, he had a very characteristic “Joe Judge Moment”, where he proved that he holds his coaches accountable, not just his players.
He made the entire defense, along with their coaches, run a penalty lap after making some type of mistake. One reporter claimed that Judge was upset over a substitution miscommunication.
Circling back on this: sounds like it was a communication error regarding a substitution that drew the ire of Joe Judge, who sent everyone on the jaunt.
Tae Crowder said the point was made about discipline and paying attention to every detail. https://t.co/8LH3Pz27LR
