Preview and Predictions for WWE Extreme Rules 2017

The next WWE Pay-Per-View “Extreme Rules” will take place on June 4th, at the Royal farms Arena in Baltimore. The main event is going to be a fatal five way match to determine the no. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal title. The five superstars taking part in this match are Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. Alexa Bliss is going to defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Bayley in a Kendo stick on a pole match, till now WWE has announced only six matches for the PPV so maybe they will add some more matches in the near future for the preshow. Here are the Preview and Predictions for WWE Extreme Rules 2017.

Neville Vs. Austin Aries For the WWE Cruiserweight Championship (Submission Match)

The Rivalry which is now going strong for 3 months is reaching its blow off. Neville is up 2-0 in PPV Matches and its time that Austin Aries gets the win and the title. Neville has been great after he became the heel and captured the title, but as the ratings of 205 live is in decline, they need to do something fresh with the division and I think Aries is the right way to go.

Prediction: Austin Aries will become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion

Alexa Bliss Vs. Bayley For the RAW Women’s Championship Match (Kendo Stick On A Pole Match)

Bayley was the biggest baby face on NXT, she was the next big thing and. But the WWE creative team as always have messed it up big time. On the opposite side Alexa Bliss wasn’t a big name on NXT, but she improved her skills and now she is the best female talker on the main roster. The feud between the two has been very underwhelming and with “this is your life” segment last week they killed all the excitement that was left for this match. The rumour is that Vince is high on Alexa bliss so my prediction is that Bliss is winning the match.

Prediction : Alexa Bliss Will Retain Her RAW Women’s Championship

Dean Ambrose Vs. The Miz for the WWE Intercontinental Championship (If Ambrose is disqualified, he will lose the title)

This can be a very interesting match as the given stipulation allows the creative to work with multiple ideas. The popular belief is that “The Drifter” Elias Samson will get involved in the match. The Miz is doing great heel work with Maryse and I think he should win the title so that he can make the Intercontinental title great again, These two had a great match just weeks before on RAW and their match can steal the show on Sunday. As for Dean I want him to move on to something bigger maybe a reunion with his former Shield brothers.

Prediction: The Miz will become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion

The Hardy Boyz Vs. Cesaro and Sheamus for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship (Steel Cage tag team match)

The Hardy Boyz have won every match since their return so I am expecting them to lose in this match. Sheamus And Cesaro have lost all the steam that they gained with their heel turn after losing week in week out and they should get the win in this match so they can look credible. The Title reign of The Hardys isn’t impressive and it’s getting stale as the everyday passes by so WWE should let them chase the titles.

Prediction: Shemaus And Cesaro Will Become The New RAW Tag Team Champions

Rich Swann and Sasha Banks vs. Noam Dar and Alicia Fox (Mixed tag team match)

Sasha Banks is in this match and she is going to win, so I am going with the team of Sasha Banks and Rich Swann. Not much to expect here than just a filler match. Emma is coming back from injury in mid June, so Sasha is most likely going to feud with her next.

Prediction : Rich Swann and Sasha Banks Will Win

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Samoa Joe (Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship)

Brawn Strowman was supposed to face Brock Lesnar on “The Great Balls Of Fire”, but an injury to him forced the creative team to change plans and they came up with this fatal five match. Last Week Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns won their respective matches on RAW and I don’t expect these two to win. Bray Wyatt is recovering from his terrible feud with Randy Orton and jobbing to Lesnar won’t help him achieve that. So only Finn and Seth are credible choices here, and I am going for Seth just because he can take a loss against Lesnar while Balor cannot at this stage of his career.

Prediction: Seth Rollins Will Win the match
