RCB vs CSK Match Prediction

RCB vs CSK Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 39th match of IPL 2019.

The 39th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings at Bengaluru tomorrow. Going by the points table, it will be a contest between the bottom ranked and the top ranked team respectively.

While Royal Challengers are coming on the back of their second victory against Kolkata Knight Riders, Super Kings are coming on the back of their second IPL 2019 loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

RCB vs CSK – What numbers suggest?

In the 24 matches which Bangalore and Chennai have played against each other, Chennai takes a one-sided lead between the two teams. As compared to Chennai’s 16 wins, Bangalore have only win seven matches in the South Indian derby.

Super Kings’ domination against Royal Challengers can be further evaluated from the fact that they have a better record at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Out of eight matches at Bengaluru, the hosts have won only three matches as compared to CSK’s four victories.

Another stat where CSK surpasses RCB comfortably is both the teams’ average score against each other. As compared to RCB’s average score of 144 vs CSK, CSK have an average score of 154 vs RCB.

RCB vs CSK – Paper value

Having missed the match against Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is highly likely to play tomorrow’s match. Dhoni’s presence has it in it to bring back CSK to winning ways. It is the unmatched value of his aura which will be a considerable threat for the hosts.

There is no hiding to the fact that RCB have looked a better side in their recent matches than they were in the tournament in the initially. Despite them winning their last match, it will be a daunting task for them to sneak a victory past Chennai Super Kings even if veteran batsman AB de Villiers makes a comeback.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that CSK are most likely to win the contest tonight.
