Mauricio Pochettino Refuses To Comment On Sergio Ramos’ Links To PSG: The Real Madrid captain is heavily linked to PSG after talks between him and the La Liga club broke down
For years, Sergio Ramos has managed to dictate terms at Real Madrid and get what he has desired.
Such has been the Spaniard’s influence on the club that Ramos has stamped his authority on the club. Year after year, his brinkmanship has paid off with the club captain getting whatever nitty gritties he desires during his contract extension.
However, the CB looks to have finally pushed his luck when it comes to getting his way at the club. With the COVID pandemic wreaking havoc across the footballing arena, Real Madrid have refused to support Ramos’ shenanigans this season.
Ramos Follows PSG’s Players
The defender who sees his current contract at the club run down at the end of the ongoing season has once again demanded a staggering pay rise. However, with Florentino Perez refusing to give into Ramos’ gimmicks, an exit could very well be on the cards for the club’s captain.
Scouring for fresh options, Sergio Ramos has turned his attention to PSG. From lauding Neymar’s contract extension at the club to following PSG players on social media platforms, Ramos is pulling out all stops to push through a move to the French capital.
Pochettino Refuses To Comment On Ramos
However, PSG’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino has remained coy on Ramos’ links to PSG. Questioned about PSG moving for Ramos, the Argentinian refused to comment on the same.
Pochettino was quick to hail Ramos and his quality as a player though as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Mauricio Pochettino: “Sergio Ramos to PSG? I won’t answer because everything can be misinterpreted… Sergio is a Real Madrid player. But what I can say is that like every team we want to improve in all positions,” Romano tweeted informing about Pochettino’s reply on Ramos’ transfer rumours.
Ramos is currently on the sidelines for Real Madrid with the CB suffering an injury, one which kept him out of his side’s 2-2 draw with Sevilla at the weekend.
