WWE 2K Battlegrounds adds two more women to their roster. The soon to be released game will feature 70 superstars (past and present).

Following the poor reception of WWE 2K20, the decision to take a break from the main series WWE game was made. In its stead, spin off game, WWE 2K Battlegrounds will be released this year. The soon to be released game will feature 70 superstars (past and present).

There are 31 playable superstars who have been confirmed to be part of the game so far. The list features some of the biggest names in the industry such as The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena and the Rock. 5 female wrestlers were announced previously and 2 more have now been revealed to be in the game.

Former SmackDown women’s champion, Naomi and the current holder Bayley will also be in the game. With Bayley’s inclusion, all the 4 horsewomen are now in the game with Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s inclusion confirmed before.


Asuka and Ronda Rousey are also part of the game. With more than half the slots still remaining, we imagine there will be a few more female wrestlers such as Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Trish Stratus, Lita and even more in the game.

Alicia Taylor has been confirmed as the ring announcer while Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and Mauro Ranallo will feature as WWE commentators. Paul Heyman will also be an NPC in the game. WWE 2K Battlegrounds is scheduled for a release on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia on September 18.
