Rivalries are a distinct part of pro-wrestling, there have been several rivalries which have managed to captivate the WWE Universe over the years. But only a few come to mind when it comes to the Women’s division.
Sasha Banks and Bayley have an unique relationship, with their origins ranging past to their days in the NXT Roster. The duo have come a long way since then being friends and foes.

The crack emerging in their relationship over the last few weeks was speculated to lead to a match at WrestleMania 34 to prove their superiority. But, amidst the build up to the Show of Shows, it seems like the match is set to be nixed from the card.
Reports claim that, with the official announcement for the first ever Women’s Battle Royal at Wrestlemania, the WWE officials have stopped the plans for the rumoured Banks vs. Bayley match, as they need more participants for the battle royal.
The plans for the match was earlier evident when Banks decided to take on Bayley at the Elimination Chamber which led to the elimination of “The Hugger”. Bayley got her revenge on RAW after denying a tag from The Boss to mark the tension between the two.

The feud would have led to a heel turn for one of the stars, which has been speculated for a long time now.
But, with the announcement of the battle royal, it will mean a major demotion for these women after competing in the RAW Women’s Championship last year at WrestleMania 33.

The match getting called off might not be as bad as it sounds, since even if it were to happen, the intense fight could get lost inside the shuffle with 14 matches planned for the big night.
It is better that the ladies get a chance to steal their show later, rather than putting on a clustered show due to the lack of time on a grand stage.
