Since the advent of IPL, there have been numerous incidents when political issues of the country or state hinder its progress.

The latest addition to this list was when Chennai Super Kings were forced to move all their home matches to Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune due to the Cauvery water dispute, a long running water dispute between states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka

All six of CSK’s remaining home games will be played in Pune. The Super Kings will now face the Kings XI Punjab in their next encounter on April 15 in Mohali.

This news has brought a lot of disappointment to all CSK fans and general public of Chennai as IPL matches are not just about cricket, its a carnival that brings joy to the entire city.

Shane Watson, a new recruit by CSK, has been in Chennai for a month now and he enjoyed every bit of it. Watson was very impressive in CSK’s astonishing win against KKR in a return home match after a gap of 2 years.

He was upset after hearing this news and he has a heartfelt message for all CSK fans.

“Very sad for our team @ChennaiIPL and the fans here in Chennai that we won’t be playing any more games here this season. The atmosphere last game was incredible. Let’s hope this situation in Tamil Nadu has sorted out asap.”

Chennai Super Kings fans have waited a long time since auction to see their favorite team return to its rightful place and bring back its past glory.

The atmosphere in Chennai has been electrifying for past couple of months and it’s a irreparable blow for the fans so to see their team leave from Chennai even more so after witnessing their team playing an extraordinary match and chasing their second highest total in the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
