Sidemen Sub Count : The Sidemen finally reached the landmark of 10 Million subscribers on YouTube yesterday. From being school friends to some of the biggest YouTubers, lets take a look at their 7 year journey.
It was a long time coming and it finally happened on November 30th as Sidemen finally joined the 10 million club. In a video released today they can be seen unboxing the play button.
The special package from YouTube also included a special letter from YouTube CEO, Susan Wojcicki. Namely the group includes – KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, TBJZL, Behzinga, Vikkstar123 and W2S.
Sidemen: The Starting Years :
As mentioned in The Sidemen Book and many Podcasts, Zerkaa and Tobi went to school together in London. While Miniminter and KSI were schoolmates as well. Sidemen were officially formed on 1 October 2013.
With Behzinga and Vikk joining them while W2S joined the group in 2014. Initially the group started with FIFA videos and comedy sketches and soon became famous with their videos gaining thousands of views.
The Sidemen House. Diss Track era and Boxing :
In 2014 the group moved into a mansion called the Sidemen House. It was here they started doing pranks and challenge videos often. 2017-18 was a time when KSI “split” from the Sidemen and the infamous Diss track era.
With different members taking pot-shots at KSI and his brother Deji. What followed this was Youtuber Boxing. It started when KSI dfeated Joe Weller and went on to challenge Logan Paul.
With the first match ending up as a Tie and the rematch being won by KSI in a split decision. Recently, Mike Tyson praised YouTubers like KSI and Logan Paul and said boxing needed more YouTubers.
