The famous YouTube streaming sensation Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter was shocked after seeing OfflineTV’s trailer for their upcoming Valorant Tournament. The renowned social entertainment group used the YouTube Queen’s famous “carrot” clip.
OfflineTV is an American social entertainment group formed by well-known content creators and streamers. Some of the names from this incredible group are Sccara, LilyPichu, Disguised Toast, and Michael Reeves. But the group is not limited to their members, as they also collaborate with other streamers and creators, whom they call “Friends.”
Valkyrae is among those streamers who often collaborate with OfflineTV members. After all, she is friends with them and even lives with their member Yvonnie. So the American content group is hosting a Valorant tournament from July 24 to 25. So they released the tourney’s trailer on Twitter, but Valkyrae was surprised by the “carrot” clip they used.
“Actually no way, this is real. I actually baffled. I can’t believe that’s real, that’s insane, that is so crazy.”
Valkyrae didn’t see her “carrot” clip coming in the trailer
On a recent livestream, Valkyrae thought to check out the trailer for OfflineTV’s Valorant Tournament. She was eagerly looking forward to her clip in that trailer. But to her surprise, it featured her famous “carrot” clip. It is undoubtedly one of those moments that the “YouTube Queen” could never forget, even if she wanted to.
For those who don’t know about this famous clip, it is from Rae’s early days of streaming when she was on Twitch. Her fans and friends often use this clip to tease the 31-year-old. In that classic clip, Valkyrae tried to rap and take a dig at carrots.
“Yo, Valkyrae here with some carrots. What up with them vegetables?”
This clip has attained legendary status on the internet since then. So OfflineTV used it to announce Valkyrae’s participation in their Valorant tournament. However, the 31-year-old was shocked and also annoyed to see this clip. She even complained about why they couldn’t use a clip of her getting an “Ace” in Valorant.
“I actually was not expecting that. In my head the whole time, I’m thinking what clip are they gonna play with me. I wonder what Ace I’ve gotten in the past 10 years. I’m surely I got one Ace, right? Because there’s a lot of Aces in this. They couldn’t find a single good clip of mine.”
Valkyrae was surprised throughout her reaction to this trailer. It would be interesting to see if it will motivate her to get some Aces at the tournament, which OTV can use in the future.
