MrBeast, aka James “Jimmy” Stephen Donaldson, is the most subscribed individual on YouTube as of this moment. Recently, the YouTuber released a massive video in which he had participants from every single country competing for a $250,000 gold medal.

The YouTube sensation MrBeast is known for pouring millions of dollars into his videos. In fact, sources claim the video titled ” $1 vs $500,000 Plane Ticket!” cost him over $4.5 million. Although he started small like most creators, MrBeast earned immense fame when a video of him counting up to 100,000 went viral. Since then, his name has been synonymous with YouTube success, and he even has an approximate net worth of $500 million.

Interestingly, several of MrBeast’s videos take the form of a challenge, with the winner being awarded a small fortune. Likewise, the YouTuber recently uploaded a video titled ” Every Country On Earth Fights For $250,000!” where he got a single participant from every country competing for a $250,000 prize. Well, let’s take a deep dive into the video and find out more, shall we?

The MrBeast Olympics featured one participant from every country

The video starts with Jimmy announcing the rules of the challenge, aptly named the MrBeast Olympics. After revealing that a single participant from every country was flown to the United States for the video, Jimmy explains that the contenders will compete in five different competitions, namely track, gymnastics, archery, fencing, and penalty kicks. Naturally, some will get eliminated after each stage, and the last one standing will be crowned the winner.

The track event saw every single participant hurtling toward the finishing line before time ran out. However, the hurdles became a serious issue as a few contestants got stuck on them. Ultimately, 97 countries cleared this round, with Indonesia as the unanimous winner.

The second round featured a massive set with two solid platforms on both sides as well as a central podium, all connected by moving balance beams. This American Ninja Warrior-esque course was taken on by two teams of five as they fought against each other to get to the central podium. However, since only the first five (among ten) to reach the central platform moved on to the next round, this round saw both teamwork and outright sabotage until only 47 countries remained.

The third round was fairly simple, as each contestant had to hit a target with a bow and arrow. However, each one was asked to vote for a specific nation, and the more votes a country received, the farther the target was moved from its initial position. Since Indonesia had been acing all the round-up until now, the country received six votes and failed to hit the target. Eventually, only sixteen countries made it to the next round.

The fourth round followed the usual fencing rules, and the first contestant to touch their opponent with the saber was declared the winner. However, before the round commenced, MrBeast gave each remaining participant $10,000 and allowed them to leave the contest if they wished. Italy and Fiji even accepted this offer, and ultimately, the game finished with only seven participants moving on to the final round.

The final round saw each participant take penalty kicks into an empty net, with anyone who misses getting eliminated. Jimmy even dialed up the challenge by introducing several obstacles until the last face-off between Slovenia and Libya. Interestingly, they were allowed to protect their goals as goalkeepers during the last kick, and while Libya saved Slovenia’s penalty, he scored his own, thus winning the $250,000 gold medal.

While fans loved the concept of the video, many were surprised at how the arguably major nations were eliminated early into the video. MrBeast himself claimed he found the ending to be quite unexpected but later revealed that everyone who competed received $2,000. Moreover, the YouTuber even went on Twitter (Now X) asking his fans to get MrBeastOlympics trending just for fun, and the post already has over 45k likes.

Even though the ending was surprising, the MrBeast Olympics turned out to be an immense success. In the meantime, you can click here for more content on popular YouTubers and streamers.
