MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina are one of the productive pairs in cricket history. They share a great deal of camaraderie both on and off the field. It is palpable that they have a mutual understanding between each other.

Suresh Raina, who knows MS Dhoni very well has let out one of the biggest secrets of MS Dhoni telling that Dhoni does lose his cool at times on the field. The phrase, ‘Don’t judge a book by it’s cover,’ comes into play.

The name ‘Captain Cool’ derives from MS Dhoni’s ability to deal things in a calm and composed manner. His potential to held the nerves in crunch situations is his trait. But that doesn’t mean that he is calm in all times.

Suresh Raina, in a sportive interaction with Gaurav Kapoor at the ‘Breakfast with Champions’ show said that Dhoni does lose his cool on the field but he never tends to express it.

“You cannot read it from his face that what is he thinking. He does get angry at times but he doesn’t express. After the end of any over when the cameras go off and ads are on TV, he then speaks like Sudhar jaa tu,” he said.

Raina also recalled the incident when MS Dhoni asked to put more pressure on the Pakistan team. He added saying that, “Once in an India vs Pakistan match, Umar Akmal complaint to Dhoni that I was abusing him.

When Dhoni asked me what happened, then I said that I was just throwing a few balls and putting pressure on them. Mahi Bhai bole, aur de s**le ko (MS Dhoni asked me to put more pressure on them),” Raina added.
