Xbox Series S 1TB model

Microsoft is all set to launch its latest next-gen console, the Xbox Series S 1TB, with a new dashing look and bigger storage than the existing Series S console. Recently, the tech giant unveiled this newest member of their next-gen family at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023.

This announcement turned out to be quite surprising for the fans, as no one expected anything beyond video games. In fact, this latest console has finally fixed an issue that was a longtime concern for the fans. Let’s check out the Xbox Series S 1TB’s launch date, price, availability, and all.

What’s new in the Xbox Series S 1 TB?

As the name describes, it boasts 1 terabyte of storage, which is literally double that of the older Series S version. In fact, it’s a treat for those who have always found the Series S 512 GB model inadequate in terms of storage for their games.

The Series S 1TB features the same modern matte finish and black color as its big brother, the Xbox Series X. As for what’s new with its design, there are no notable changes in the built structure.

Series S 1 TB: launch date, and availability

The console is all set to launch on September 1st, 2023, with minimal chances of any delays. Because the developers plan to make it available in retail stores before Starfield’s arrival on September 6th. Hence, fans aren’t likely to face any availability issues or stock shortages.

Pricing, and Pre-order

When it comes to the console’s cost, it comes with a price tag of $349.99 (Rs. 28,857.22 approx) which is $50 more than the base Series S version. The price appears quite reasonable considering all the extra 512 Gb of storage, which will allow players to store more games in the system.

For those planning to own it, it’s already available for pre-order, and one can book it straight from Xbox’s official website. However, some of you might face stock availability issues as it’s still very early. But that won’t continue for long, as Microsoft has announced that it will circulate this console to more retailers across different regions in the coming few weeks.

That’s all for the Xbox Series S 1TB for now, and regarding its performance, there aren’t any hardware or performance upgrades, except increased storage, of course. Hence, this upcoming console will deliver the same gaming experience as the older Series S model, which is also quite impressive.
