Twitter goes into meltdown as Bayern are robbed at the Santiago Bernabeu
Bayern Munich must feel robbed after the match officials played a huge part in deciding the outcome of their quarter final match against Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo will take all the plaudits after he scored a hat trick to notch up his century of goals in the Champions League. But Carlo Ancelotti was not amused as he ripped apart the match officials after the game.
There were several close decisions that went against Bayern. But the red card for Vidal and Ronaldo’s crucial off side goal were atrocious decisions that were unacceptable at this level of the game.

Trying to work out how much better this Real Madrid team is than Arsenal's right now.
I'd say 99.9999999999999%. #RMAFCB— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) April 18, 2017
Vidal wrongly sent off, Ronaldo 2nd goal miles offside.
Bayern have been robbed if they lose this. #RMAFCB— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) April 18, 2017

Bayern played their hearts out. Hummels, Boateng, Neuer were not even recovered fully. What a performance!#Respect#RMAFCB
