Twitter reactions on India’s win in 2nd T20I: Twitter was elated at watching the Indian team making a comeback in the series.

During the second T20I of the ongoing India’s tour of New Zealand at Auckland, India defeated New Zealand by 7 wickets to level the series 1-1. After losing the first T20I by a whopping 80 runs, India needed to win this match to stay alive in the three-match series.

India sealed a 159-run chase in the penultimate over of the match without much discomfort. It was a 79-run opening partnership between captain Rohit Sharma and his partner Shikhar Dhawan (30) which provided an apt start to the Indian chase.

On the way to his 16th T20I half-century, Sharma also became the highest run-scorer in the format. The right-hand batsman ended up scoring 50 (29) with the help of three fours and four sixes. Other than him, Rishabh Pant made full opportunity of his promotion at No. 3 by scoring 40* (28) with the help of four fours and a six.
