The Canadian rapper Drake has amassed notoriety for betting on major sporting events. In particular, he is quite fond of placing a wager on fights, be it UFC or boxing. While he has seen success in some wagers, he’s also had his share of losses. Not too long ago, Drake placed a $250,000 bet on the Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul fight, ending up on the losing side. Now, with the unexpected outcome of the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis clash, his potential $1.3 million payout hangs in uncertainty. Thus, the luck doesn’t seem to favor the millionaire on the fights of Logan Paul or Jake Paul.
Due to the controversies leading up to their clash in Manchester, England, on October 14th, all eyes were on the Danis vs. Paul clash. This included the Canadian rapper, who had placed a huge bet on the outcome of the fight. However, the fight concluded in a manner that surprised many.
Uncertainty looming over Drake’s $1.3 million payout on Paul vs. Danis fight
On Friday, the 13th of October, the Canadian shared an Instagram post, disclosing his substantial $850,000 bet on the underdog in the co-main event.

The terms of the wager stipulated that the rapper had predicted Logan Paul to win by knockout. However, the fight concluded with Danis losing due to a disqualification.
It remains uncertain if the 36-year-old will secure the estimated $1.3 million payout on his $850,000 wager. Furthermore, it appears as if Danis’ post-fight grappling attempt on Paul was premeditated.
If Drake were to lose the bet, it wouldn’t be the first time that he would have lost a bet on Jake Paul or Logan Paul.
When Drake lost $250,000 on the Jake Paul fight
YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul faced off against UFC veteran Nate Diaz in a 10-round bout on August 5th. ‘The Problem Child’ secured a victory, marking a strong comeback from his previous loss to Tommy Fury.
Many thought that since Diaz is such an established fighter and just out of his UFC contract, he would pose a challenge to Jake Paul. However, this wasn’t the case, as Paul emerged victorious via a unanimous decision.
The 26-year-old’s victory meant bad news for Drake, as the Canadian rapper had wagered $250,000 on Nate Diaz to emerge as the winner. As per a report from TMZ, Drake shared his bet via an Instagram story.
However, as evidenced by his consistent support and wagers on Israel Adesanya’s fights, he does not hesitate to continue betting even after a loss. Thus, fans can anticipate Drake placing bets on future fights involving Jake Paul or Logan Paul.
