The rematch between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is the contest that the fans are longing to witness. While this match may or may not take place but there is a possibility that the fighters may bump into each other in the near future.
Conor McGregor is set to headline UFC 257 alongside Dustin Poirier. This Lightweight battle will culminate a stretched out card, in which some other significant fights are also expected to feature and a few are already lined-up.
At the event Khabib Nurmagomedov’s younger cousin Umar Nurmagomedov is scheduled to make his UFC debut against Sergey Morozov. The concerned fight was earlier the part of UFC 254. Considering the bond that Khabib shares with his family and always keeps his loved ones at the top of the priority tree, the No.1 Pound-For-Pound fighter may join the camp of his 24-year-old cousin. And if that indeed becomes reality then one may speculate that there are chances that the two formidable foes may come face to face.
It should be noted that there were plans early on to get both McGregor and Khabib on board for TUF. But that did not panned out the way Dana White would have liked.
