"I have an angel protecting me": UFC Middleweight Julian Marquez Survives a Major Car Crash

Julian Marquez survives a horrific car accident. The fighter shared photos of the accident site and feels blessed to return unharmed.

Julian Marquez, who attained the performance of the night award at UFC 258 for his victory over Maki Pitolo, has been in news ever since. At the event, the fighter on live TV asked Miley Cyrus to be his Valentine and subsequently got the revert from the pop artist as well.

While the fortnight turned out to be ideal for Marquez, on Sunday the MMA professional did run into an unfortunate incident. The 30-year-old apparently survived a fatal car accident in which his vehicle has been severely damaged. The fighter took to Twitter to give an update of his state.

Julian Marquez Shared Pictures Of  The Scene

Julian Marquez informed via social media that he is safe and shared photos of the accident site. The stills he has posted showcase the impact of the collision and disseminates that no one got injured.

“All I can say is I have an angel protecting me. Blessed no one was harmed or injured.”

Known as “The Cuban Missile Crises,” Julian Marquez is a mixed martial artist from Kansas City. He made his professional debut in 2014 and found the way into UFC, through Dana White’s Contender Series (2017).

Currently, he belongs in the Middleweight roster and has a 3-1 win/loss record in the promotion, and he is 8-2 overall.
