Michael Chandler Calls Out Tony Ferguson Post The Development Around Conor McGregor Vs. Dustin Poirier Fight
Michael Chandler is defiant over challenging Tony Ferguson, and has called him out once again.
The newly arrived Lightweight contender Michael Chandler is eager to get on the fight sheet, and ever since he has entered the scene, he has targeted Tony Ferguson. In the last couple of months, the 34-year-old has mentioned the name of El Cucuy on a number of occasions, and has expressed his desire to mark his UFC debut against him.
So, on the emergence of the recent development regarding the Conor McGregor Vs. Dustin Poirier fight, “Iron” did not wasted any time and went out to call out Tony Ferguson again.
Michael Chandler Calls Out Tony Ferguson
With Khabib Nurmagomedov’s status in the Lightweight division not certain, the fight for the title is seemingly wide open, though Nurmagomedov is still the rightful holder, as he is yet to officially vacate the belt. However, as for the future the ostensible contenders are- Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Tony Ferguson, and Justin Gaethje. And considering UFC might want to zero-in-on a name, the bookings is the only way to go about it.
While Conor McGregor Vs. Dustin Poirier is close to becoming official, and Justin Gaethje on respite period, it is Tony Ferguson, who is the bearer of a considerable attention, and is due to step inside in the Octagon again.
Upon noticing the same, Michael Chandler has called out Ferguson on Twitter and has asked for a response.
He wrote: “Glad We Got Some Answers. Now Where You At Tony Ferguson?”
