Michel Pereira Vs. Kalinn Williams: Match Summary
Kalinn “Khaos” Williams, who is also known for his intimidating stare, did not miss the chance to have a good look at his opponent in the prelude. In the early minutes, both men kept their distance and approached each other with caution.
Initially, it was Williams who was chasing Pereira. In search of an explosive finish, Williams threw some heavy punches and landed some significant strikes, however, Pereira was up for the challenge and made some clean contacts while countering. Nothing apparently separated the two in the first round.
The second round saw Pereira making adjustments and he pulled a slight offensive gear. Michel Pereira successfully landed a couple of high kicks in this round, which affected Williams’ agility. As the round progressed, Pereira became more comfortable and in the dying seconds of the round caught Williams in a choke submission, but could not finish the match as the clock did not allow him to maintain grip for long.
In the third and final round, the back-and-forth continued and went till the end. After 15 minutes both the individuals were physically drained out and it was difficult to pick who gained the edge. But, according to the judges, Michael Pereira superseded Williams on the scorecard. Thus, adjudged as the winner of the match via unanimous decision.
