Last year, South African billionaire Elon Musk paid more than $44 billion for the popular social media network Twitter. Following that, Tesla CEO Elon Musk modified various Twitter regulations and even dismissed several staff members. Despite the fact that he did all of this in an effort to encourage free expression, Musk faced widespread criticism. The SpaceX founder, on the other hand, appears undeterred and continues with his regular Twitter policy adjustments.

Musk just announced another upgrade on his official Twitter profile, which would remove countless dormant Twitter accounts. The decision sparked a flurry of reactions, including a request from Andrew Tate to save his late father’s account.

What did Andrew Tate say to Elon Musk?

Previously, Elon Musk made it mandatory for accounts, including that of celebrities on Twitter, to pay a monthly fee to keep their blue tick. Now, in a bid to free up the space, the Tesla CEO has announced a purge of inactive accounts on the platform. Musk wrote:

“We’re purging accounts that have had no activity at all for several years, so you will probably see follower count drop.”

Tate, a former professional kickboxer, took to his Twitter account to plead with Musk to preserve the account of his father, who passed away several years ago. The account has remained inactive since his death, and Tate argues that deleting it would erase a valuable piece of his father’s history.

Tate wrote:

“Very good idea. But my father died, and I still read his account daily. Please keep him active.”

Tate aka ‘Cobra’ has frequently praised his father, Emory Tate. He attributes his whole life’s achievements to his father. As a result, it is clear that the controversial social media personality was close to him and wanted his account to remain active.

Following Musk’s statement, Andrew and his younger brother Tristan began retweeting and replying to their father’s earlier tweets in an attempt to keep his account active.

Did Musk troll Tate?

Elon Musk and Andrew Tate are two significant internet figures that frequently provoke online debate. Both are supporters of free speech, although Musk occasionally makes amusing remarks about Tate on social media.

Musk made a joke on New Year’s Eve about how making pizza at home is preferable to other choices. Tate’s admirers, on the other hand, took it as a reference to his recent arrest on human trafficking and rape accusations stemming from a video he posted displaying pizza boxes.

Some suspected that the authorities tracked him down by using the name of the pizza shop on the boxes, but this was dismissed as a rumor. However, it is not difficult to deduce that Musk was going for Tate.

What are your thoughts on Musk’s tweet about pizza? What do you guys think about Tate’s request?
