How much money did Khabib Nurmagomedov make against Conor McGregor?
Khabib Nurmagomedov took on Conor McGregor in what was the biggest UFC fight in history on October 6, 2018. The hate-filled grudge match took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Both fighters had a lot on the line and their rivalry was arguably one of the best rivalries the sport has ever seen. While Nurmagomedov was able to get the job in round four of the fight via submission, he also left the octagon significantly richer that night.
‘The Eagle’ reportedly had a base salary of $2 million and, on the flip side, Conor McGregor had a base pay of $3 million. It is worth noting that the base pay does include the pay-per-view share and other incentives. Considering the fight sold 2.4 million pay-per-views, both fighters are expected to have made somewhere around $20-50 million from their bout.
What are your thoughts on Nurmagomedov’s biggest fight in his career? What do you guys think about Abdelaziz’s recent post?
