Did Nurmagomedov retire from coaching?

Yes, the former UFC champion retired from his role as coach this year. Nurmagomedov left MMA in 2020 after successfully defending his lightweight title for the third time in his career.

Following that, he wore the coach cap and was leading his friends and teammates in their MMA career. He even corned them for their fights and was having a pretty successful stint as a coach.

However, Nurmagomedov felt that he was missing out a lot on his family because of the training camps and traveling. Thus, the former UFC champion stepped away from coaching as well. However, he is still making moves in the entrepreneurial world.

What are your thoughts on Nurmagomedov’s decision to stop coaching? What do you guys think is the announcement above?
