Tyson Fury and UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones are considered to be two of the baddest men on the planet. Interestingly, the two have been having a war of words recently. The back and forth started when ‘The Gypsy King’ clapped back at Joe Rogan for suggesting that Jones would beat Fury in a real fight. Interestingly, the two have even entertained the idea of a fight.

While Tyson Fury urged Jon Jones to step into the boxing ring, UFC president Dana White has asked the boxing heavyweight champion to enter the octagon.

Will Tyson Fury enter the octagon to fight Jon Jones?

Ever since Tyson Fury and Jon Jones started to go back and forth online, a potential fight between the two was being looked forward to. However, it looks like they won’t fight each other anytime soon.

Tyson Fury seemingly has no interest in doing a MMA fight against Jon Jones. ‘The Gypsy King’ is open for a fight against Jones. However, he is adamant about making it happen inside the boxing ring and not a cage.

Moreover, Fury recently doubled down on his position and told Israel Adesanya that he will not enter a cage because he’s a boxer. During a recent interaction with the UFC middleweight champion, ‘The Gypsy King’ said:

“I ain’t going in no cage. F**k you. No, listen, I’m a boxer. Queensbury rules brother.”

Boxers vs. UFC fighters have always been a point of dispute. Several UFC fighters have crossed the line and battled against a professional boxer. A boxer, on the other hand, has seldom entered an MMA cage to face a UFC fighter. Similarly, boxing great Tyson Fury also rejected the idea of competing against the UFC star in the MMA cage.

Fury has restarted talks for a potential bout against Anthony Joshua

‘The Gypsy King’ was last seen in action against Dereck Chisora back in December last year. Since then, he has been involved in negotiations with Oleksandr Usyk.

However, the undisputed heavyweight championship bout fell apart after the two teams were not able to agree on the terms of the fight. Now, it looks like Tyson Fury is attempting to make a super-fight against Anthony Joshua happen again.

The two have been slated to fight a number of times in the past. However, much like what happened with the negotiations against Oleksandr Usyk, the teams of Fury and Joshua have not been able to come to terms. That said, it will be interesting to see if the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight can finally be made after being teased to the fans a number of times.

What are your thoughts on Fury vs. Joshua? What do you guys think about Fury not entering the MMA cage?
