UFC 253 Gets an impetus, as another bout is added in the already stellar fight card.
UFC 253 is the month’s marquee event, and the card already looks decked up, contains match-ups which are guaranteed to produce some exhilarating action. The event headliner is the Middleweight bout for the title, and it is between Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa. At the event a new Light Heavyweight champion will also be crowned, moreover, fans will also witness potential contenders.
Another feather in the cap was added on September 8, when it was announced that Jeff Hughes Vs. Juan Espina has been booked for the event.
Juan Espina is the winner of TUF 28, and will be making his way back to the ring after almost 22 months. He is 39 now, and will square off against the fellow heavyweight Hughes, who will be eager to get a victory to his name in UFC. Jeff Hughes has competed thrice in the MMA’s finest promotion, and lost on two occasions, whereas one fight ended in a stalemate. This will be his first appearance after October 2019.
