VCT Masters Tokyo Match-Up: FUT vs Attacking Soul Esports; Predictions, Rosters and Where to Watch

VCT Masters Tokyo heats up as we approach the final matches for the Group Stages as FUT takes on Attacking Soul Esports from China. This match will be unpredictable as both teams bring their region’s strategies to the global stage.

FUT looked good in their respective EMEA League match-ups. They defeated Team Vitality and gave quite a fight to other good teams. Now that they are in Masters Tokyo, they have a new league of opponents from different regions worldwide. One of them will be Attacking Soul Esports.

The VCT format is now designed so that China is its own region and not officially under the banner like the EMEA, Americas, and Pacific regions. That is why most people do not know the teams in that region. That being said, Attacking Soul is a giant in the world of Esports. Let us see why.

FUT vs ASE VCT Masters Tokyo: Who Will Win?

View on Website

If you watch EMEA, Americas, or Pacific exclusively, there is a chance you might not have heard of Attacking Soul. However, they are one of the strongest teams in China besides EDward Gaming and FPX.

However, due to their first match being against the almighty DRX from the Pacific region, ASE got pushed to the limit. ASE lost the game 2-0 and could not keep up against DRX’s onslaught. They will now face off against FUT in an elimination match. The winner of this match plays DRX again—the game-winner against DRX goes on to the playoffs.

It is a difficult match to prepare for both teams. They do not know each other’s stats and haven’t scrimmed against each other. That is why it will be a little tricky to predict who wins.

Predictions

FUT is one of the best teams in its region, and so is Attacking Soul. However, if we go and take a look at the last five matches of each team, they are pretty much the same. Both teams have lost 3 out of the previous five games they played.

Recently, FUT lost against Evil Geniuses 2-0 to now participate in this elimination match, while ASE lost to DRX to do the same. Although Attacking Soul lost, they put up one hell of a fight against DRX and almost brought the team down to their knees. ASE lack discipline and a little team coordination, which they hope to improve in the next match.

On the other hand, FUT has lots of momentum from the EMEA League, which is why most will be betting against them. However, Valorant is anyone’s game at this point. However, we predict that ASE should scrape by this match and win against FUT 2-1.
