Virat Kohli predicts winner of New Zealand vs England 2019 Cricket World Cup Final

Kohli predicts winner of New Zealand vs England: The Indian captain was vocal about the final match of the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

The final match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is currently being played between New Zealand and England at Lord’s. It was New Zealand captain Kane Williamson who won the toss and chose to bat despite the overcast conditions and the green wicket.

Continuing the winning momentum, both the teams have persisted with the same XI in this World Cup. “Tough decision [to bat first]. A bat-first surface, but the overhead conditions do make it 50-50. It was a really good game of cricket [against India] and great to get across the line.

“But, this is a tough surface and tough opposition. I always back Martin [Guptill] with the bat and we know how good he can be. Any experiences you have you can learn from. It will be incredibly special,” Williamson was quoted as saying at the toss.

“With the overhead [conditions], toss is 50-50. Jonny [Bairstow] is fully fit, which is great news for us. I’m extremely proud and everyone in the change room is. We want to win and throughout the tournament we have played tough games and the semi-final epitomized that,” England captain Eoin Morgan said.

India captain Virat Kohli, who is still in England, was recently asked about who he thinks should win the World Cup. “It depends on the day. If conditions are good for batting, then they [New Zealand] will have to bat really well,” Kohli was quoted as saying to Metro.uk.

“If conditions are bowler-friendly and they put enough runs on the board, they become a dangerous side as you saw in this game [semi-final]. It is anyone’s game, a knockout match. Whoever plays well on the day will win. I won’t pick a favourite. The team who plays the best cricket will win,” Kohli added.
