WATCH: Jonny Bairstow uses binoculars during Cape Town Test; TV director merges it with visuals of women

Jonny Bairstow uses binoculars: The TV director attempted a hilarious side of English wicket-keeper batsman using the binoculars.

During the third day of the second Test of the ongoing England’s tour of South Africa in Cape Town, England wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow using the binoculars from the dressing room was converted into an amusing clip by the TV director.

It all happened during the 60th over of the English innings when opening batsman Dom Sibley and captain Joe Root were batting against South Africa all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius.

Bairstow, who was dropped after scores of 1 and 9 in the first Test in Centurion, was spotted using the binoculars from the dressing room. It was at the same time that the TV director started showing visuals of female spectators on the camera intending to portray as if Bairstow was looking at women.

The hilarious sight was enjoyed duly by the commentators who are heard laughing in the video which has went viral on social media platform Twitter.

A 116-run partnership for the third wicket between Sibley and Root (61) played a pivotal role in England extending their lead to 264 runs at Stumps on Day 3. Set to resume batting from 85*, Sibley has a golden opportunity to register his maiden Test century in only his third Test today.
