Watch the reaction of Neymar as he watched Paris Saint Germain lose the game against Manchester United in the Champions League Round of 16.
Manchester United left it late to qualify for the Quarterfinals of the Champions League by eliminating Paris Saint Germain from the competition. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be waiting inside the board’s office with a pen to hand him the permanent role for the remarkable job he has done at Old Trafford till date.
The Red Devils entered this game with the scoreline 2-0, but their game plan worked to perfection as they beat Thomas Tuchel’s side 3-1 at Parc Des Princes. Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring in the second minute, but the lead lasted for just ten minutes as the left-back Juan Bernat equalized for the hosts.

It was a very tough game, but Gigi Buffon’s spilled the ball and the Belgian was to take full advantage and score past him once again in the first half, The hosts had plenty of possession for the remainder of the half, but they could not make use of it to a greater effect.
During the second half, Kylian Mbappe had an excellent chance as he went past David De Gea, but he slipped in the 82nd minute which came back to haunt the French outfit. When Diogo Dalot’s shot was blocked, none of the Manchester United players appealed and decided to take a corner.
However, the referee pulled it back to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) which showed Presnel Kimpembe handling the ball inside the penalty box. The commentators repeatedly said that it would be too harsh to hand over a penalty to Manchester United because his hand was in a natural position. However, the officiate decided otherwise.
The whole stadium was stunned apart from one stand where the Old Trafford faithful were bouncing in joy after Marcus Rashford kept his nerve to convert it from the spot-kick. It is a remarkable performance to overcome injury concerns and beat PSG on aggregate at their own backyard.
Neymar, who has been forced to sit out on the treatment table was seen in the touchlines during the dying moments of the game. The Brazilian was near the tunnel and showed total agony in his face when PSG were desperate to find a goal back to progress.

The forward will be fuming to miss out on this game and witness his side to end up on the losing side despite taking a two-goal lead to their home. The whole Manchester United squad were buzzing after the goal.
However, Neymar was not able to hold back his emotion as he wrote “That is a disgrace” on the Instagram story.
“And UEFA still pick four guys who know nothing about football to review the VAR decision in slow motion… that handball simply doesn’t exist!
“How do you handball behind your back? Ahh.. go f*ck yourselves.” he vented his frustrations after the game in the social media.

In the post-match interview, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was out of his words to describe the moment as Manchester United strolled past PSG.
Speaking in the post-match interview, he said “Fantastic, the belief in the boys was what we hoped for. It was a great start, we didn’t expect it after two minutes. We wanted many goals in the game.”
“Yeh of course, there’s always doubt. I was in the CL with Molde and we got a penalty against Basel and my player missed that penalty. Rashford is 21 the pressure on the boy, no nerves.”
“Champions League that’s what it does. You saw Real Madrid Ajax, that was our team talk – it was probably theirs! With this club, this is what we do. That’s Man Utd.”
“There’s always some mental doubt, we’ve had those experiences and our boys are young.”
“I haven’t seen it but my staff says he made himself bigger and it’s a penalty.” said Solskjaer.
When he was asked if he got the job after this victory, he replied “No no no. Let’s see what happens.”
