WATCH: Yuvraj Singh hilariously crashes into Ben Cutting's interview with girlfriend Erin Holland during Global T20 Canada 2019 match

Yuvraj Singh hilariously crashes into Ben Cutting’s interview with girlfriend Erin Holland prior the third match of Global Canada T20 2019

The second edition of the Global Canada T20 2019 studded with the big names in World Cricket has got off to a brilliant start. But, it is Yuvraj Singh who has been owning a major portion of the spotlight with the local Canadian supporters and fans pouring into the stadium in numbers to watch their star from Punjab lit up the Cricketing atmosphere.

Ever since his retirement, the 37-year-old has become quite active on social media, perhaps enjoying his post-retirement life and is seen passing witty comments and taking hilarious jibes at players via his social media handles.

Yuvraj, who is the captain of his team Toronto Nationals in the league, made sure he pulled a leg of the all-rounder from Australia, Ben Cutting, who was also his opponent in the third match of the Global Canada league, representing the Edmonton Royals.

Ben Cutting’s girlfriend- Erin Holland, who is the presenter of the ongoing Global Canada T20 league was taking her mate’s interview, when all of a sudden Yuvraj, perhaps sensing a perfect opportunity to humble the duo, crashed mid-way during the same to pass a hilarious comment.

What did Yuvraj Singh comment?

Former Miss World Australia and the presenter of the Global Canada T20 league- Erin Holland had just begun her interview with boyfriend Ben Cutting. She was asking him about the Cricketing atmosphere in Canada, and barely did she finished with her question, that Yuvraj Singh crashed into the interview with the comment- “When is your wedding guys, I need to get ready for the wedding”.

Both Cutting and Holland invited Yuvraj to join in for the interview, but the left-hander having accomplished the purpose, nonchalantly left after passing the comment to leave the two with smiles on their faces.

Erin Holland gets a revenge opportunity

Yuvraj Singh’s Toronto Nationals won their first game of the league by two wickets, in what was a cracker of a contest against Edmonton Royals. Looking down and out at one stage it was Nationals’ Manpreet Gony (33 off 12 deliveries) who played some scintillating strokes to bring back life into the contest with just three wickets remaining in the bank.

Some smart batting post Manpreet’s wicket by Salman Nazar (9* off 6) and Mark Montfort (10* off 9) helped Yuvraj’s team to sail over the line.

Yuvraj Singh too, played a fine, aggressive knock in the chase of 192 (in 19 overs), smashing 35 off 21 deliveries with the help of three fours and as many mammoth sixes. But, it was incidentally Ben Cutting who put a halt to Yuvraj’s innings with a soft caught and bowled dismissal.

Erin Holland, in the post-match interview sensed this as the perfect opportunity to take a dig at the Southpaw, but he yet brought out his witty side on this occasion as well.

After praising Yuvraj’s innings Holland asked- “Someone really annoying called Ben Cutting got you out”. To which Yuvraj in his witty manner responded by asking- “Who’s that guy, do you know him?”

He further responded to Holland by saying- “Hopefully it’s a good wedding present for you guys that he got me out. Hopefully it should not happen again”.
