WWE Money in the bank 2019: Bailey becomes Miss Money in the Bank in the show opener by defeating 7 other women.

Bailey has become the new Miss Money in the Bank. She achieved the feat earlier this night when she took on 7 other women in the annual ladder match. The Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match was everything it needed to be. The crowd was into the match from the beginning to the end. All of the participants found their moment to shine. Nikki Cross dominated the match early on with her craziness. Naomi took over from there and wowed the audience with her athleticism.

Carmella had to leave the match midway following a kayfabe injury. Naomi was the first to climb the ladder but was pulled down by Ember Moon. Carmella limped back into the ring near the end and looked like she would become the first 2-time Miss Money in the Bank but was taken out by Sonia Deville. She then helped Mandy up to the top of the ladder in a show of amazing strength.

However,

To their surprise, Bailey quickly climbed up the ladder and pushed the duo down.

The former Raw Women’s Champion quickly unclipped the briefcase and became the WWE Miss Money in the bank 2019. She celebrated with huge cheers. Hopefully this leads to a much needed resurgence in her career. The Hugger has fallen off the radar off late and this push could be that spark she needs to establish herself as one of the top stars of her division.

The win is a good start to get her there. However, her night may still not be over as she can still cash in her contract on Becky Lynch who will face Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair in two matches tonight.

WWE Money in the Bank 2019 is streaming live on the WWE Network.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
