Dominik and Rey Mysterio finally got their payback over Seth Rollins and disciple Murphy, at WWE Payback. Dominik gets his first pinfall victory in WWE.
The rivalry between Mysterios and Seth Rollins continued at WWE Payback, and after months of suffering Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio have finally prevailed in the tag team match.
Ray Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio Vs. Seth Rollins and Murphy: Match Summary
After a devastating loss at the hands of Seth Rollins at WWE Summerslam, Dominik Mysterio recovered and joined forces with his dad officially in a match, against the team of Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins and his loyal follower Murphy.
The match was full of ups and downs for both teams. With Rey Mysterio in the match, one thing was certain that there will be high flying action to witness, and indeed there was some and his son complemented him in doing that as well. Seth Rollins and Murphy were looking to again take control and finish the match, but a drastic turn of events saw Murphy inadvertently striking Seth Rollins with a knee. This paved the way for Mysterios to get the upper hand, and the match ended after Dominik successfully connected a 619 on Murphy.
This marks Domink’s first pinfall victory in WWE, and it did come at a big stage. However, the feud may still carry. So, the attention again shifts to Monday night Raw.
