WWE News: Huge match announced for WWE SummerSlam

WWE News: Huge match announced for WWE SummerSlam next month. The match will also involve a stipulation adding major consequences.

The WWE is now on full SummerSlam mode. The biggest party of the summer is on its way and the promotion is now setting up major storylines to build for huge matches at the event.

The WWE has long witnessed Shane McMahon’s tyranny ever since he turned heel at WWE Fastlane earlier this year. Since then, the McMahon scion has disposed The Miz and Roman Reigns in singles action with the Miz being on the losing end twice.

Another Superstar has since emerged to put an end to the madness. Kevin Owens the new voice of the voiceless is now looking to finish Shane McMahon once and for all. The former Universal champion inexplicably turned face and has since become Shane’s biggest critic. He argues that Shane has taken TV time from far better and deserving wrestlers.

The prizefighter is now looking to avenge those that have fallen by the wayside due to Shane’s egomaniacal limelight hogging and bring the others to the forefront. To set this objective in motion, he has challenged Shane McMahon to a match at SummerSlam. The stipulation being, if he loses, he’ll quit the WWE. Shane McMahon has accepted the challenge and now the two will face at SummerSlam.

This is not the first time this two will go to war against each other. They have previously battled each other back in 2017. At the time the dynamics were different though. Shane was a benevolent overseer of the Blue Brand while Owens was the hot-blooded instigator. This time Shane has overtaken the entire WWE with his ego trip and Owens is now the defender.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
