Recently retired Undertaker could make yet another return at Wrestlemania 37

Recently retired Undertaker could make yet another return at Wrestlemania 37 according to recent reports regarding the showcase of the immortals.

Wrestlemania is WWE’s most important card of the year. It is imperative for the company to book high profile matches for the event. They are reportedly looking to bring in a few big names back to the show such as John Cena and surprise surprise, (not really though) the Undertaker!

According to WrestleVotes, the WWE are looking for 4 big matches, two each from SmackDown and RAW. Cena and Goldberg are almost decided to be on the show while the Undertaker is still an option. Many believe that the Deadman is done with Wrestling. However, they also believed that he can be talked into it by one usually convincing man.

“Once a decision was made to run the 2 night card for Mania, the creative team started working on “bigger” ideas,” the report read. “Thought is WWE now needs 4 MAJOR matches, 2 per show. That probably requires outside assistance from big names. Cena & Goldberg nearly locks. Rock unlikely. Taker TBD.”

“Follow up on the Taker part. Majority of those backstage think he’s done. And rightfully so. However, it only takes one call, from one usually conVINCing man to change all that,” they wrote.

During his recent conversation with Joe Rogan, the Undertaker confirmed that he was no longer signed to a talent’s contract and was officially a legend. However, he has also said before that if needed, he may come back to the WWE.

During his Last Ride documentary, the Undertaker announced his retirement before leaving it open ended saying that he would be open to come back if Vince needed him. Could this be when the WWE needs him? Will Vince convince him to step inside the ring again or will the deadman finally be allowed to rest in peace? Only time will tell.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
