Bayley discusses rumors of a possible match vs Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 37

Bayley discusses rumors of a possible match vs Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 37. The Man has been off WWE TV for over a year now.

At last year’s Wrestlemania, all of the Four Horsewomen were involved in title matches. This year though, only Sasha Banks was booked at the Showcase of the Immortals. However, she wasn’t the only Horsewomen fans expected to see at Wrestlemania 37. Many hoped for Becky Lynch to return and face Bayley at the event.

Rumors circulated of a possible comback and fans lost their minds at the prospect of seeing the Man take on the Role Model. Much to the dissapointment of many however, that match never took place. Asked about the rumor during an interview with SK Wrestling and Bayley mocked fans for wishing for something that never happened.

“I think it’s just wishful thinking. And I think it’s just people ready to see Becky back and ready to see me get my butt kicked, I guess. But that’s not gonna happen because she didn’t come back, suckers!”

Bayley may have to eat her words soon though. WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan recently confirmed that Lynch will be “coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.” Lynch has also reportedly signed a new contract with the WWE pledging her future with the promotion.

The Man was last seen back on the 11th May episode of Raw where she relinquished the Raw Women’s Championship due to her real-life pregnancy. Bayley on the other hand, was SmackDown Women’s Champion for much of last year. She will have another shot at reclaiming the title against Bianca Belair this Sunday.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
