The A-lister recently appeared on the Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette podcast. He revealed that he arrived for the pay per view without knowing what the plans were for him. He had opted out of the Elimination Chamber match and had nothing to do for the day.

“I had no idea. I walked in there and nobody was talking to me. Like, all the creative, like ‘is anyone going to tell me what the hell is going on?’ In the afternoon! So, I’m like ‘oh my god, is anybody going to talk to me?’ Then I go in and figure out what’s going on and I’m like, ‘okay this is it.’ Honestly, you never believe it’s gonna happen until you hear 1-2-3 you don’t believe it’s gonna happen.”

“By the way, this is against Drew McIntyre and if you’ve been watching WWE at all, Drew and Roman are on fire. They are incredibly hard to beat. They have grabbed the brass ring and basically said, ‘we’re untouchable, you’re not going to be able to touch us, you’re not going to be able to get this title off of us.’ It’s always difficult.”

The Money in the Bank contract was originally won by Otis. However, the Miz managed to prise the contract out of him after beating him at Hell in a Cell last year. After failing to cash in the first time, the A-Lister arranged a deal with MVP to have Bobby Lashley soften McIntyre before he finally cashed in.

However, what the Miz failed to realise that he had struck a deal with the devil for glory and Lashley is now on track to collect his dues. The two are scheduled to face each other next week for the WWE Championship.

Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all.
