Sasha Banks and Bayley become first duo to win PWInsider’s Tag Team and Feud of the Year

Banks and Bayley were workhorses for the WWE last year. They appeared on all shows when and wherever they were required. RAW, SmackDown, NXT, you name it and they would blow it out of the park. This has resulted in them winning both the Tag Team and Feud of the Year in the @OfficialPWI Awards, voted by their readers.

They are the first female tag team to earn the accolade of the best team. They duo also happen to be the very first to win both awards in the very same year.

Quite a year for the pair actually. Banks was recently named Sports Illustrated’s Top Wrestler of 2020 while Bayley found herself at the 6th position.

Conversely, Bayley was named PWInsider’s number one ranked women’s wrestler in their annual Women’s 100 list covering the timeframe of July 2019 to July 2020. Banks found herself at 5th place on the very same list.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
