Bayley addresses her recent injury in new video promo

“I know what you’re thinking and you’re thinking that it sucks. Because you wanted to see the longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion in history regain what’s rightfully hers, to walk into Money in the Bank and beat Bianca Belair once and for all and take back my title.

“But now I’m hurt and now that I think about it, that’s not what you’re thinking. You don’t care at all! You don’t care that I’m hurt, I did this to get better for Money in the Bank, I did this to be the best, I did this for you! So this? Yeah, this is all your fault! And I don’t give a damn who they put in my place because they are not as good as me.”

This was an interesting way for the WWE to bring the injury up on Live TV explaining why Bianca Belair needed a new opponent. This also allowed Bayley to leave to recover while still maintaning her alignment as a heel.
