Roman Reigns & Jey Uso

WWE announced recently that this year’s Draft will be a multi-night affair. The Draft is expected to take place on SmackDown, on April 28, and continue on Monday Night Raw, on May 1, 2023. The upcoming event will mark WWE’s first Draft with Triple H at the helm. This year, all stars, even the talents from NXT are eligible for the Draft pick. Wrestling fans are extremely curious about the Bloodline’s future. Some fans are spitballing that Roman Reigns could be drafted to Raw.

Roman Reigns and the rest of the Bloodline have been a fixture on the Blue brand. Although they make sporadic appearances on the flagship show, they are originally signed to SmackDown.

After successfully retaining his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Raw’s Cody Rhodes, fans are wondering if Roman would be moved to Raw for their rematch. A new report sheds light on The Bloodline’s status following the Draft.

WWE Draft 2023: Will the Bloodline stay on SmackDown or move to RAW?

Xero news reports that the Bloodline will most likely remain on SmackDown. Even though Raw is WWE’s flagship show and the Red brand is devoid of a top Champion, Roman Reigns will reportedly continue his legendary reign on the Blue brand.

In addition, Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman, and The Usos are also reportedly booked to stay on SmackDown. It seems that the Island of relevancy will continue to reside on SmackDown.

The report read-

“Roman Reigns expected to stay on SmackDown with Solo Sikoa, The Usos & Paul Heyman”

“Rhodes vs. Reigns 2 may be kept away due to the draft, no word for Rhodes to move to SD either. Sounds like he remains on Raw”.

As for Cody Rhodes, Xero News noted that The American Nightmare will keep his place on the flagship show. This means that their rematch is not on the card anytime soon.

Cody Rhodes is gearing up to face the toughest challenger of his career, Brock Lesnar, at Backlash in Puerto Rico. It remains to be seen if WWE will have Rhodes go after Roman Reigns once again, or have him work more for the opportunity.

Roman Reigns will hit the 1000-day mark as The Universal Champion at the Night of Champions

Roman Reigns is undoubtedly a tough act to follow. The Tribal Chief is without question the most successful champion of the modern era. WWE is doing a good job protecting his impressive title reign so far.

The Bloodline leader is not going to compete at the upcoming Premium Live Event, Backlash. However, he most certainly will fly to Saudi Arabia and put his titles on the line at the Night of Champions.

As of this writing, we don’t know who will challenge the 37-year-old. But Roman Reigns will complete his 1000 day as the Universal Champion at the Night of Champions.

It was reported earlier that Triple H is seemingly looking to split the top Championship titles by SummerSlam. We will have to wait and see how soon WWE plans on splitting the title.
