WWE Release former Universal Champion Braun Strowman and several other talent in another string of mass release earlier today.
WWE have continued to part ways with their talent following Wrestlemania. It is normal for the WWE to release superstars they see no need for after their flagship show every year. However, never before has the company seen such a flurry of releases, many of whom are quite the names in the world of wrestling.
Since April, WWE have released 17 wrestlers from the company. Six more names joined this list today. The most surprising among them was Braun Strowman. The Monster among Men is a former Universal Champion and was always a constant upper mid-card presence. The WWE have also released Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett.

Aleister Black was also recently inserted into a fued with Big E and it seemed that the two were going to have a program together.
