After the tragic incident backstage following AEW All Out media scrum, The Elites returned to the PPV event, Full Gear. AEW fans expressed joy over their return to Full Gear, however, fans turned on The Elites following the event on the edition of AEW Dynamite. The Young Bucks and Omega antagonized Chicago fans and trolled CM Punk, who happens to be a Chicago native.

Although The Elites were brought back, it is highly unlikely for AEW to reinstate CM Punk as he was the primary aggressor. AEW is reportedly in talks about buying out CM Punk’s contract which would mean Punk’s official release from the company.

Omega and the Bucks took it too far after they mocked the fans and a certain WWE legend thinks that AEW could go out of business because of that attitude.

Booker T believes AEW could shut in some years because of their antics on the episode of Dynamite

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T gave his take on The Elite’s antics on AEW Dynamite. Speaking on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, former five-time WCW Champion expressed that he feels the way Elites are going, could lead the company to shut in some years.

According to the WWE Hall of Famer, the company could close down in a couple of years leaving everybody wondering what went wrong.

“That company could be closed down in a couple of years, and these guys are going to be wondering what the hell happened. And it’s because they’re going out there and playing games, not understanding what this stuff is really about.” Said Booker.

Booker further heaped praises on The Elites for putting in the work and for what they have accomplished so far. He also stated that they will manage to stay relevant because of their fanbase. Furthermore, Booker admired the Bucks’ work in the ring. However, he was not amused with their conduct on AEW Dynamite with the fans.

Booker T set to make his in-ring return

In case you didn’t know, Booker T hasn’t completely quit wrestling for color commentary. The former King of the Ring runs his own wrestling promotion, Reality of Wrestling, based in Houston, Texas. Speaking on ESPN 97.5 Houston, T revealed that he is ready to lace up his boots for an upcoming tag team match at ROW.

Since Booker T will be away from commentary at NXT, Wade Barret will fill in for the former World Champion. That said, it kind of begs the question, Will Booker T ever wrestle in WWE again? Watch this space for updates.
