WATCH: Virat Kohli imitates Sarfaraz Ahmed in front of Kuldeep Yadav in Indian dugout
Virat Kohli imitates Sarfaraz Ahmed: The Indian captain was seen mimicking his counterpart in India’s dugout at Old Trafford.
During the 22nd match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 between India and Pakistan at Old Trafford, India captain Virat Kohli was seen mimicking Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed during the innings break in the Indian dugout.
After the Indian innings got over, rain started to pour to cause a slight delay in the match. With the Indian team and the Pakistani opening batsmen arriving at the ground, they didn’t go back to the pavilion. While the Indian team was witnessed sitting on the dugout, Pakistani batsmen were standing near the sight screen.
Going by comments on social media platform Twitter, it is observed that Kohli was imitating Ahmed asking Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir to bring the ball. “Amir ball la [Bring the ball Amir],” some users were quoted as saying with respect to lip-reading the Indian skipper.
Talking about the match, India posted a formidable 336/5 after being put in to bat by Ahmed. Vice-captain Rohit Sharma scored his 24th ODI century to lead the Indian innings. Other than him scoring 140 (113) with the help of 14 fours and three sixes, his opening partner Lokesh Rahul (57) and captain Virat Kohli (77) scored individual half-centuries.
With bowling figures of 10-1-47-3, Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir was the pick of the Pakistani bowlers.
