Roman Reigns: Former Universal Champion gives advice to unhappy wrestlers in the WWE
Roman Reigns: Former Universal Champion gives advice to unhappy wrestlers within and outside the the WWE and tells them to be patient.
Roman Reigns has achieved a lot since his debut in 2012. He is a 4-time world champion and a Grand Slam champion in Vince McMahon’s promotion. Easily one of the most recognizable wrestlers in the world today, the Big Dog has some advice for unhappy wrestlers who want to be thrusted into his spot.
While speaking with ComicBook.com, Roman Reigns said: “Everybody just wants to be in that [top guy] position. But people forget about the grooming period. People forget about the equity and the building of grassroots on TV; and also the audience that we’re in front of. People, they can forget that I’ve been on television for years now. Every week, you’re really … in this day and age we are a content heavy society, and there is just so much.
“So we’re competing with all of that. You have to consistently remind them of what you are and who you are and what you’re doing. I feel like some people just feel like, ‘Hey, I’m going to become a big star tomorrow’. It doesn’t work like that. So, you have to really show that you have the equity with fans.”
The WWE has come under the scanner for a lot of its wrestlers being unhappy with the company and reportedly wanting to leave. However, Roman can’t be faulted for preaching patience and persistence to his colleagues.
