After much hype and anticipation, the 25th anniversary of RAW dawned upon us and it delivered with several nostalgic moments with the presence of several legends.

One such nostalgic moment was the return of “The Deadman” who appeared at the Manhattan centre after a long absence.

The crowd at the venue rose to their feet with the Undertaker entering without his trademark smoke and dark vibe.

The Undertaker addressed the crowd at Manhattan by explaining his legacy with the WWE and went on to mention to mention the wrestlers he has defeated over the years including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind and his very own flesh and blood, Kane.

He stated that these names have failed to topple and him and it is time that they “Truly Rest In Peace”.

The promo leaves a lot to be answered with several questions on everyone’s mind. The promo could be an effective retirement for the legend or it could be an indication for a search for a new opponent.

The new opponent could be in the form of John Cena, as the speculations of a prospective match between the two icons have reached it’s peak.

The Phenom apparently retirement after the defeat to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33. Since it has not been officially declared, the chance of the legend returning cannot be ignored.

Undertaker’s return left a lot to be desired and the company failed to highlight it’s anniversary in a good way. The sleepy Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were proof of that.

Stay tuned for more Royal Rumble and WrestleMania updates.
