FIFA Best Women’s Player of The Year: Final 3 nominations to vie for the FIFA Women’s player of the year award ahead of the ceremony tonight.

FIFA will announce the winners of the annual prestigious awards, as the nominations are out since long, and tonight all the categories will be felicitated.

Amidst all of this, Women’s football has received folds of popularity in recent years and since it was the World cup year, the battle for the player of the year is even more intense.

Thus, FIFA has ended up with final three names, among whom, one would be crowned as the FIFA Best Women player of the year 2019 tonight.

The three nominated players, who will vie for the title are: Megan Rapinoe, Lucy Bronze and Alex Morgan. Two of the final three nominees are world cup winners, whereas Lucy Bronze was in the English team, which lost the final.

Thus, it will be a tough choice to pick one out of the three finalists but we will discuss the achievements of the three players in last one year to give a heads up before the ceremony for the best player award.

1. Alex Morgan

The USA International player was crucial for her country’s success at the grandest stage. Even more, she was vital in winning the treble with Lyon, making her an unstoppable force last season.

Furthermore, the player even won the Silver boot in Women’s world cup after her influential performances to make USA win the title this summer.

It did not stop here and she even went onto win the Player of the year award at the CONACACAF awards this year, and ultimately claiming her nomination.
