NBA Bubble Hotel Rooms: Patrick Beverley yelled outside hotel rooms at 2 am in Orlando

Patrick Beverley has tried to keep spirits high in the NBA bubble and he initially did so by shouting outside his teammates’ hotel room in Orlando. 

Patrick Beverley is all pumped up for the league’s restart in Orlando. The star has been a great presence in the Clippers locker room this season.

Now Reggie Jackson, one of the newest members of the roster, mentioned how Beverley looked out for his teammates and raised their spirits at the start of their quarantine inside the bubble.

Patrick Beverley’s NBA Bubble Hotel Rooms Prank

Patrick Beverley has been an essential player for the Clippers. The guard has made a name for himself as one of the league’s premier perimeter defenders. Recently, Reggie Jackson mentioned an incident which showed Beverley’s caring nature for the team.

With all teams staying together in the NBA bubble, Beverley came up with a small prank game in order to keep everyone in high spirits.

Reggie said the following on a recent zoom interview:

“We’re all locked up now in quarantine, can’t leave your room, but it’s probably 2:00 a.m. and all we get is a ‘Yoooo! Yoooo!’ Everybody is like, what is going on. Bev is just yelling through walls, making sure everybody is good.”

The Clippers appreciated Beverley’s affection for them. Everyone was a little weary as to how to approach the Bubble and Pat sort of ensured it for the Clippers that they would try and have as much fun as possible.

“It’s the first day, he’s just checking, everybody opening their doors saying what’s up, looked at each other, and that made, I guess, the first part of the 24 hours of lockdown even better, just knowing that your teammates were there with you.” Reggie added.

He went on to praise him by saying:

Beverley spends a lot of his time checking on his teammates both on- and off-court. The guard will do just about anything to keep the team’s energy high and minds right.

What’s next for Beverley and his Clippers?

The 32-year-old is averaging 7.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists for the Clippers this season. The Clippers currently have a record of 44-20 and sit second on the standings behind the Lakers.

Beverley and his Clippers will resume their campaign against LeBron James’ led Los Angeles Lakers on July 30. Beverley will hope to win the title this season.

With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way and Pat Bev providing good support in teams of defense, the Clippers do have a great shot at the title this time round.

Can they achieve that elusive feat? Only time will tell.
