Jorge Masvidal has documented his impressive run of losing 20 lbs in 6 days. Gamebred, released a 30 minute episode displaying the same, on his website.

With Gilbert Burns having to withdraw from the main event spot just days before the scheduled event i.e., UFC 251, Jorge Masvidal, in what could be termed as a series of nippy movements, replaced Burns to get a title shot against the Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman. However, the road to the main event was still full of hurdles, and one of them was a monumental task of losing 20 lbs in 6 days. It became an incredible scenario as he overcame that as well. Jorge Masvidal with his sheer determination to fight not only became a fan favorite, but also elevated the scale of the event. The D-Day arrived, till now everything was going according to the script, but it turns out Kamaru Usman on the day proved to be an insurmountable force, who won by a unanimous decision.

The 35-year-old lost the fight, but gained worldwide recognition. The total buy-rate of UFC 251 reportedly came out to be 1.3 million.

The fighter also has a documentary series going on. And the latest episode of “Fulltime Fighter”, i.e., the episode 8, which is titled as “6 Days Part 1”, showcases the efforts rendered by Gamebred in achieving the feat of losing a substantial amount of weight in just 6 Days.
