Khamzat Chimaev Does Not Want Any Respite, May Fight again in August
Khamzat Chimaev after setting the record of the quickest turnaround victory, wants to fight again. May make another Octagon appearance in August.
Khamzat Chimaev who has taken the UFC by storm, and won his second match just 10 days after his debut fight, has raised the eyebrows of everyone. From Daniel Cormier to Dana White himself, all are in awe of this exciting new prospect. After registering the quickest turnaround victory (11 days), Chimaev wants to continue this flow, and in the process has asked Dana White for another fight. White in reply has promised to grant what he wants.
Dana White has often reiterated in the past about his affinity towards fighters who are ready to take challenges in quick succession. And as it is turning out to be, Chimaev is no different from those fighters.

In a recent interview with ESPN, the president of UFC expressed his admiration towards the Swede and said, “The guy is so dominant, so confident, wants to continue to fight every weekend. I love it, I love guys with that mentality. I love how talented this guy is. We threw the hottest prospect out of the U.K. at him and that kid is a badass. That kid is a legit great fighter. (Chimaev) made it look like he didn’t belong there. … The kid is legit. He’s real and he knows it and I love it.”
White further added, “He said he wanted to fight and I said, ‘Done. I’ll make it happen,’” White said. “He wants to fight now again in August. I’m going to get him what he wants.” (Source)
Khamzat is also active on social media, where in the past couple of days he has not refrained from engaging in casual spats, and has also thrown challenge to Conor McGregor. The 26-year-old even talks about, soon superseding Khabib Nurmagomedov as well. But for now, his intentions are to ”smash” every potential opponent.
