“He’s full of fire”- Jaylen Brown responds to Marcus Smart’s locker room outrage post Game 2 vs Heat
Jaylen Brown backs up Marcus Smart for his actions in the locker room after losing Game 2 against the Miami Heat.
The Miami Heat go 10-1 in these 2020 Playoffs as they take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics, 106-101.
The Boston Celtics blow a substantial lead, going into the 2nd half, and due to careless turnovers by the Celtics, the Heat managed to pull away for the win.
This resulted in turmoil in the Celtics locker room after their Game 2 loss, with Marcus Smart at the helm, voicing his disappointment yelling, “Y’all on that bulls**t!”
Jaylen Brown says this is why Marcus Smart is loved by his teammates
In his postgame presser, Marcus Smart’s teammate, Jaylen Brown made it very clear that there is no animosity between the Celtics players following the locker room outrage.
Brown backed up Marcus Smart by saying, “That’s why we love Marcus, he plays with passion, he’s full of fire.”
Jaylen continued on with calling the Celtics his family and said families are bound to have ups and downs.

Marcus Smart has been the heart and soul of the Boston Celtics this year, and such raw emotion from Smart after a 2nd consecutive loss in the ECF is very much understood.
Are the Boston Celtics done?
Miami is most definitely in the driver’s seat right now, as they have forced the Celtics to blow a 14 point lead in Game 1 and a 17 point lead in Game 2.
When asked about their comeback, Jimmy Butler said he loves being the comeback kid.
“We like to make it hard on ourselves. We like being down double digits and being the comeback kids.”

Brad Stevens needs to figure out how he can outsmart Spoelstra’s swarming zone defense because if he doesn’t, the Celtics will get swept.
