Tavierre Thomas Stats: How did Browns Cornerback Performed in his NFL 2020 First 2 Matches
Despite the Browns’ spectacular loss to the Ravens in Week 1 with a devastating 38-6 blowout, Tavierre Thomas managed to record a sack while filling in the cornerback position. Will we get to see more of him in the 2020 season?
Who is Tavierre Thomas?
Tavierre Thomas is a cornerback who now plays for the Cleveland Browns. He came out of Ferris State University as an undrafted free agent in the 2018 NFL draft. The Cardinals signed him on in April of 2018 and waived him in September.
The day after that happened, Thomas was claimed off waivers by the Browns. He made his NFL debut on September 9th, 2018 during the Browns season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As a rookie, Thomas played 13 games, mostly on special teams. He also tied the team lead with seven special teams tackles.

While the Browns suffered a 38-6 loss at the hands of the Ravens, Thomas had somewhat of a decent night. Along with 4 tackles, he also recorded a sack while filling in at the cornerback position, due to Greedy Williams and Kevin Johnson being injured.
Thomas in Week 2
Thomas had a good start coming into the season, with a good performance against the Bengals. He had a total of nine tackles and while he did not record any sacks or interceptions, the Browns came out with a 35-30 win over Cincinnati.
