Younghoe Koo “Deeply Saddened By The Events That Took Place In Atlanta”: Atlanta Falcons Kicker Speaks Out Against Deadly Shooting Against Asians In Atlanta
Younghoe Koo took to his Instagram to share his thoughts about the Atlanta shootings. Koo, an Asian American, was extremely troubled by the hate crime against the Asian community.
Koo’s comments come after the deadly shootings in 3 spas in Atlanta. The shootings took place in Piedmont and Cherokee County.
The shootings left eight dead, and six of the victims were of Asian descent. The troubling hate-crime has created unrest in the Asian-American community across the United States, especially in Atlanta. Thus, Koo saw it necessary to use his platform to speak up about the issue.

Younghoe Koo Stands Up Against Anti-Asian/Asian-American Racism

Koo recently re-signed with the Falcons after a Pro Bowl season. Koo’s comeback story is as good as anyone’s and now that he’s stepping up in the NFL world, he’s also realized it’s time to speak up about these issues. Additionally, as Koo is directly affected by incident. The whole NFL world has made it known that they stand by him, and him and the entire Asian community are going to receive tremendous support.
